1000 Flowering Trees

I'm aiming to paint 1000 flowering trees over the next few months, or years

I started sketching then digitally painting flowering trees, inspired by the amazing spring, in 2024.

Some trees are observed in my neighbourhood and travels in England but most are spun from my imagination. I'm always studying and researching art history and for quick inspiration love to visit Google Arts and Culture. My work tools include pen, iPad, Mac, Google Photos, Figma and my latest favourite AI art-making software; this is ever changing and sometimes includes Clipdrop, Recraft and Visual Electric. Plus Claude and Gemini for guiding my research, providing creative support and bouncing around ideas.

Update 21 October 2024: I've painted and now published 271 flowering trees.
